After graduation I plan to spend summer days playing with my four young kids and adventuring with my husband! I am praying over what starting a biblical counseling center will look like in Silicon Valley, as there is a great need in this area. I have really enjoyed counseling kids and teens and their parents as part of my practicum.
The MAC program has been transformative for me, it’s changed how I engage with people on a daily basis as well as how I understand theology. I’ll forever be grateful for this program. A highlight was definitely the people I met along the way!

I am currently the Executive Director of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale and look forward to stepping into the role of Executive Pastor following ordination in the PCA. In addition, I plan to continue serving with the church’s Institute for Faith & Culture, as well as on staff with Coral Ridge Ministries.
I have greatly benefitted from the incredible teaching at WTS. I especially loved studying Hebrew under Dr. Groves. A highlight of my time at WTS was the unofficial trip to Athens with my online Greek 3 class, along with 2 study tours with JUC to Israel and Turkey.

Next stop: Camping in Shenandoah National Park before driving back to FL!
Summer: Catching up on all the projects I’ve postponed over the past 3yrs at WTS.
Fall: Launching Deeply Rooted Jax. A ministry to make mature disciples of Jesus through prayer gatherings, biblical counseling, equipping events, and building a community of believers who encourage one another in fulfilling our unique roles in the Body of Christ.
Forever: Grateful for the gift of this WTS experience. Leaving with a deeper awe of God, love of Christ, dependence on the Spirit, & friendships in the Body. Thank you WTS!

Westminster has been such a meaningful season of growth—especially in how it’s stretched and deepened my understanding of theology, Scripture, and the gospel. The classes have been rich and challenging in the best way, equipping me to think more clearly and live more faithfully. I’m also deeply thankful for the friendships I’ve made along the way. From those 4 to 5-hour Zoom study calls to deep theological conversations, the support, the laughter, and the shared journey of faith have meant more to me than I can put into words!

After graduation, I plan to continue serving in ministry and seek opportunities to teach and mentor others in their faith journeys. Westminster has been deeply transformative—spiritually and intellectually. Seminary challenged me to think deeply, love more fully, and trust God in new ways. I’ll always cherish those moments in lectures, readings, or small groups when something clicked in my heart and mind, leading to praise. I’m so grateful for the friendships, faculty, and support staff who made this journey meaningful. I leave with a full heart and great hope for what’s ahead!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at WTS, especially the way that everything was made practical. The instruction equipped me for teaching and preaching God’s word. While extremely practical, academic rigor was also a significant part of my time at WTS. A huge thank you to all of my instructors, teaching assistants, and fellow classmates! After graduating, my plan is to continue pastoring the church where I am currently serving at. Additionally, I am also considering taking on a Master’s of Theology Degree.

- My future plans are to counsel in my local church, and community. Attending seminary has impacted my life greatly to see that the work of Biblical counseling is critically important to society because of how desperately we all need the Lord to orchestrate our lives.

After graduation, I will continue to work on the headquarters staff of Bible Study Fellowship. The rich theology and counseling courses and training I have received in the MAC program will give biblical depth to my writing and relationships as I serve as a Training Specialist for BSF. I am grateful to God for the privilege of online learning at WTS, and excited to see what He has next for me as a biblical counselor.

At this point, I am planning to go into the ministry in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. I am greatly appreciative for my time at Westminster for many reasons, but I’ll mention specifically two things. The first is that my time of intense study here helped to form me in terms of my thinking. I benefited immensely from learning how to think God’s thoughts after Him in every subject. The second area is the formation that Westminster gave me in terms of my Christian living. While other things could be said, I am thankful to the Lord for growing me both in terms of doctrine as well as practice.

My time at Westminster has been such a privilege. The coursework, faculty, and students have all exceeded my expectations. I thank God for the opportunity to study His Word and how it applies to counseling in my time in the MAC program. I plan to serve the church by counseling in whatever capacity the Lord leads while continuing to homeschool my children.

Hello! My name is Curtis and I live with my wonderful wife and two young daughters in Washington State. I am a software engineer by day and an aspiring theologian by night. Lord willing, I want to use my new MATS degree paired with my tech skills to support the Church in our digital age. I freelance for a Biblical language learning platform and hope to find more opportunities like that in the near future. One of my absolute favorite parts of WTS Online is the Coffee House community! It really bridges the personal-connection gap for students (and now alumni!) who aren’t together on campus.

I came to Westminster to learn more about biblical interpretation and hermeneutics. I was especially interested in the New Testament Use of the Old Testament. It was a privilege to sit under the instruction of Dr. Beale and learn the details of his methodology for the New Testament Use of the Old Testament and the details of his discourse analysis method. I’m grateful for my opportunity to grow in my exegetical skills and theological analysis. “All God’s words are wonders” (Herman Bavinck, Reformed Dogmatics: Prolegomena [Baker Academic, 2003], 336).
